Indeterminate. 85 days. Mid to late season Oxheart tomato from Albenga, on the coast of Northern Italy. Fruits weigh 8-16 ounces and are crack-resistant. Our new most favorite mid-season and saucing tomato, the flavor and meatiness of this gorgeous beast beats the Romas hands down. Large, heart-shaped, and ridged, these are beauties to behold, with a fantastic flavor. Great for roasting, fresh eating, or saucing. The only down side for a seed saver is the seed cavity is small, with few seeds - but the up-side is they are not at all watery. We get better results with these in the hoophouse but they do produce outdoors in our area as well. Grown organically but not certified.
