Indeterminate. 85 days. Mid to late season Oxheart tomato from Albenga, on the coast of Northern Italy. Fruits weigh 8-16 ounces and are crack-resistant. Our new most favorite mid-season and saucing tomato, the flavor and meatiness of this gorgeous beast beats the Romas hands down. Large, heart-shaped, and ridged, these are beauties to behold, with a fantastic flavor. Great for roasting, fresh eating, or saucing. The only down side for a seed saver is the seed cavity is small, with few seeds - but the up-side is they are not at all watery. We get better results with these in the hoophouse but they do produce outdoors in our area as well.
