Heavy producer of plump, oval, creamy yellow, warty fruits. Excellent delicate, crisp, sweet flavor, no need to peel. Best when eaten at 4" long. Good for bread and butter pickles. Maintained for five generations by the Boothby family of Livermore, ME. Recognized by the Slow Food Ark of Taste. Good container variety. Grown organically but not certified.
