Solanum lycopersicum. Determinate. This uniform, round orange tomato is sweet and meaty and popular at the farmers market. It is equal to the best orange slicer we have tried. Early, productive, and worth growing even as a sprawling, low-maintenance outdoor tomato in the cool Pacific Northwest. I admit, we don't like extra work in mid-summer, and low-maintenance outdoor tomatoes are what we prefer. Easier to harvest if you cage it or give some other basic support. Bred by Tim Peters in Oregon. Grown organically but not certified.
